I can't tell if this is satire or has been built in earnest. It gives me such strong "The Platform" (2019) vibes, but at the same time I can imagine people actually paying for this. For instance, did nobody ever stop and think that it might be bad for mental health if you force people to interact with a dating app daily? But the dating app industry is known for preying on the desperate, so maybe it's not surprising at all? I really can't tell. |
