Ask HN: Solo Founder Questions

I am about to be a solo founder of a company in the GenAI space (just like a million others, I imagine :-D) I had some questions that I hope the audience here can help with.

1. I will be moving to the Bay Area with a small family. What do people do for health insurance when you're at this pre-seed stage? I have enough savings to last a year or two, but health insurance is a big unknown, esp. with kids.

2. California taxes are a killer. Is it feasible to register the company in NV so I don't have to pay CA taxes? Has anybody done this? What are the gotchas?
