They case they're making is that the claim that they're doing it to remove violent criminals is a lie. They're sweeping up everybody, including some American citizens and others who are legally allowed to be here. If it were a few individuals, it might be counted as a mistake. But it's not; it's clearly about xenophobia and authoritarianism. |
