While I applaud the efforts to make AI inference local-only, I also fail to see the need for AI inference that relies on collecting continuous information. Yes, implicit activation (i.e., keyword) results in a less effective model that doesn't automatically order eggs for me. But I don't really need the more effective model (shopping list post-it on the fridge works just fine, actually). It's a solution looking for a problem. |
