Hmm... So what do you think web components are then? There was an initial proposal called web components that comprised a whole slew of enabling technologies - like custom elements, like modules, templates etc. Some of the proposals never got implemented. The closest single thing to web components is custom-elements ( with optional shadow dom and optional slots ). So is that what you are objecting to? |
