This begs the question, is chat an indicator of ability? I would suggest not as how you converse with a coding agent changes as you learn. This is new to most of us - we're still trying to get a grip on it while it changes daily. Also, if you had a rubric, you could just make it a training document after hiring the engineer using normal methods. Problem solved. |
