It's good that this is becoming more standardized as a practice.
Yes, BUT... the obvious question is: Will other AI companies follow Google's lead here in creating/detecting watermarks?

And equally importantly, would they detect each others' AI-created works?

Honestly, I'd be surprised on both counts.
