This can have pros and cons. They will get much more vcpu / dollar on bare metal. And they can develop great operational discipline if they do it right. On the downside, I don’t see them yet taking ops seriously. They are getting a lot of attention, but not yet establishing SLAs (at least not publicly). And their donations don’t seem to be scaling to the continued and expected demand. |
