many development communities are active on Discord.
if you want to follow or contribute to OSS, you'll need to join their Discords. this is a big problem - if individuals switch to something else, they will lose access to popular Discord communities. not sure what solution there is for this, as it's unrealistic that all communities would switch to the same alternative (if at all) |
