The fact that other countries receive investment, which they welcome, doesn't mean they're not being exploited. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploitation_of_labour#In_deve... The Western companies who employ or contract people in these other countries aren't altruistically investing. They're on the hunt for people who will accept lower wages, and for governments that won't insist on workers rights, health and safety. |
