This simply echoes advice from financial experts, which is for the average consumer to invest in diversified index funds, like the S&P 500 and some fixed income instruments, shifting the balance towards the latter as you approach retirement. Interestingly, I don't see in this post or the original post they refer to mention of other things that should be inputs in investment strategy, such as age and risk tolerance. |
