Congrats on the 1.0 release! This could be a big deal for Lottie, given that cross platform-level rendering inconsistencies have always been one of the hardest problems, especially on web, where some of the most widely used renderes still rely on SVG and end up CPU-bound with high memory usage for anything non-trivial. Having first-class WebGL and WebGPU feels like it could materially change what’s feasible in terms of animation complexity and performance. Being C++-based makes cross-platform consistency much more realistic than today’s fragmented player ecosystem. |
