I think we can agree that Sweden is not a representative sample of what happened in Europe as a way to explain why WhatsApp became dominant for the majority of people in Europe. I grew up in Canada so my knowledge is purely from talking with people in non-Swedish parts of Europe that I met and also reading contemporary articles analyzing the space as well as retrospective analysis of what led to WhatsApp’s popularity and dominance. |
