I don’t think they should’ve done that or continue to do it without consent, and I don’t limit that to code. Books, images, everything else applies the same. I also don’t think “but it wouldn’t be viable otherwise” is a valid defence. I don’t see what that has to do with the conversation, though. If your point is about the free/$20, that doesn’t really factor into my answer. |
