W & watts has become a colloquialism for watt-hours in the EV space at least. e.g. "how much did consume at the super charger" -- about 10 watts (WH). So it's not literally correct, but it's becoming commonplace to say that. slang , pigeons and dialects all develop based off of context like this. |
