Instead of setting Pi-hole as router-wide DNS, this post shows how to use Tailscale DNS so Pi-hole applies only to selected devices. This gives you network-wide filtering for your devices without router specific hassle. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Tailscale, and by how much functionality it offers even on the free plan. |
