I grew up playing tennis competitively and can't remember a single time someone complained about this. I think only academics consider it a "fairness problem." Do the authors of this paper also want to rewrite the rules of every American sport that has a "best-of" playoff system (e.g. MLB, NBA, NHL, etc.)? |
