Depends what you mean by "best." If you're looking for a fun and quick read, "The Dagger in Vichy" by Alastair Reynolds was probably best. If you're looking for a something more high-concept, the only new book I truly enjoyed this year along those lines was "The Afterlife Project" by Tim Weed. |
