There are sorta two separate features: 1. Notion-style realtime "autocomplete" for heading and inline formatting Markdown 2. Full Markdown import/export and copy/paste These features make Docs interoperable with Markdown, but don't make it a Markdown _editor_ in my view. Anyway, you can enable the features from Tools > Preferences > Enable Markdown |
