When I was forced to use a Mac at work I found that Nix was also just a better (mostly faster) package manager than brew. Even if you're not on the immutable bandwagon it's very worthwhile. As a bonus I was able to achieve some semblance of uniformity across Mac and my Linux desktop with home-manager. |
