Geeks had little to do with it. The geeks and nerds and hackers built the base layer infrastructure for a few decades through the late 90s, then the money showed up and the normies took it all over. The geeks never had a chance, they were too busy building things for the sake of building. |

Maybe this could be a wakeup csll for the geeks though that if they want to keep building for the sake of building, they ought to do something.
