As a child I lived near Gorey and accumulated a collection of little picture books signed by him. As a child I never knew what to make of them...they weren't anything like Calvin & Hobbes or The Far Side. Until reading this I'd pretty much forgotten about them. I'll have to go pull them out to see if I understand them better as an adult. |
