Thanks! OK, I also just read that basically Nintendo bet on ram bandwidth, but ignored latency. A more general lesson: Nintendo bet on cutting edge, speculative technology with RDRAM, instead of concentrating on 'Lateral Thinking with Withered Technology'. |
