IMO it would make sense to tie into the trademark system. Allowing companies to build a brand reputation and protect it from impersonators is literally the whole point of that part of our legal system. Imagine if only the owner of the McDonald's trademark could issue a certificate which displays the McDonald's name and logo, for example. |
