Facebook (and now DataStax) has given me Apache Cassandra, and for that, I will be eternally grateful. Why did Zuck release it? It's so valuable and disruptive, feels like a "becuz I can" move. I don't even keep a Facebook account, so to them I must be just about the worst moocher ever. :P |
