This kind of stuff is simply a result to certain companies having a userbase bigger than they maybe even want (especially when offering a free tier). They can get away with not implementing even basic stuff, becauase their core feature is all 99% of the users even care about. |

Then again, they have LLMs that can just deflect all "change email" related questions to an FAQ article containing the "wontfix" information...
