My parents older windows 10 laptop was getting slow and battery wasn't great. They bought a new windows 11 laptop from Costco for $600. Yes cheap, but not total garbage. Tried using it for a few weeks. Worse performance that their 6 year old similarly cheap laptop running windows 10. Returned new computer. I installed Linux Mint Mate and bought an Chinese battery for $30. Laptop better than new. |
