The OP isn't necessarily wrong though: the effect of the law is basically not well understood, hence the popularity. It's a case of people not understanding what age verification means (you are collecting everyone's ID to do it) and/or nor caring because "they don't use that Internet". There's going to be a lot whinging once a bunch of boomers and boomer-millennials see an age check prompt on Facebook. |
