Woah, that's kind of unexpected to me, but it totally makes sense in many ways.

Sad to see decades of user contributions being sucked up for profit again, but as long as they don't lock it down... well, they will at some point, I fear.

Hopefully Discogs won't be next.

Yeah, my bet is they are going downhill. Would love to know if anyone is archiving the work. I've contributed with a few samples over the years, and it't kind of annoying that this is now under Spotifys ownership.

Will be very sad if Discogs gets acquired. Their database is freely available to download! Very cool for running your own data projects
