It was also intentionally ignorant, as even then western search engines and websites had their own "censorship" and the like already. And I think that's fine. I don't want a zero censorship libertarian free for all internet. I don't want a neutral search engine algorithm, not least of all because that would be even easier to game than the existing one. |
