gamedev looks glamurous from outside but it's prone to burnout. you'll probably spend most of your time developing for unity/godot/unreal or fixing bugs and crashes. not very enriching. specially now with AI. if you want more joy in your craft, look for a boring job and seek joy in personal projects my 2 cents |
