That could be made to work by stacking a transparent OLED panel in front of a transparent LCD panel. The LCD would absorb light, and the OLED would emit light. I just tried to search for some examples, but I can't find any. Maybe the displays can't be made thin enough to eliminate parallax between the two images? |
