Yes, PyTorch borrowed from Autograd, Chainer, etc. ...but PyTorch felt friendlier and more Pythonic, and it came with a comprehensive library of prebuilt components for deep learning in `torch.nn`. See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45848768 |
