Many non-work trucks are bought because the owner needs to tow boats, ATVs, an RV, etc. Unfortunately the towing range is awful on this gen of electric pickups. Gas stations are much more common and quicker to fill up. Electric is great for torque but terrible for range. So a local delivery van or box truck is much simpler to electrify than a towing pickup or a long distance semi. |

I'm surprised that no work truck fleets were sold on the vehicle though... seems that would be the most ideal sales channel, but they'd need to push towards F-250/350 levels in practice.
