The only way this makes sense is if you are looking at the Vue 2 GitHub page.
The new Vue 3 is at 52k stars on GitHub, has multiple releases per month, and is ranked 7th A-tier framework in the "State of JS" framework rankings. It holds second place in frontend framework "experience with" and "sentiment," just behind React, with 6+ million weekly downloads on socket.dev and npmstats, ahead of both Angular and Svelte. So, I guess we have a different definition of "dead." |

all apps need a js frontend, while there backend can be in Java, rails, python, c#, nodejs etc.
even at number 2, vuejs is likely to have more users than multiple popular backend frameworks combined
