Science and Faith have different goals. Science figures out things, Faith helps those who are alone (And your ego hates this). Both are, in a neutral, scientific, sense, cults. Edit: I am a bit one-sided here. Faith also is a social glue (look e.g. at the Muslims), and it actively works for spiritual self determinism. At least Buddhism, Toltecism and Scientology do. |
