Yeah, I've seen this "for reference only" wording in many places, often used as a sort of disclaimer on stuff that could be wrong, but I have absolutely no idea what it means in that context. To me "reference" implies comprehensive, high quality information that I can refer to when I need to know some obscure detail of something. Is there some legal context in which this phrase has a specific meaning, perhaps? |
