That is probably the case, but Windows has always been schizophrenic when it comes to settings - there's the UI, the control panel, the second new control panel, the cli, group policy, the registry... Frame it as "it's 2025 and this is my first look at Windows", it's pretty bad, and it sucks because if they installed on a Home SKU, we end up having to tell them to reinstall to get control. Maybe we have Stockholm syndrome. |
