Lawyers love AI.

It is a liability issue waiting to happen.

Deloitte lost $440k and lots of credibility --- all due to misapplication of AI. And the party is just getting started.

Most people don’t (yet) understand that AI will hallucinate facts and references. There have been at least a hundred known cases of lawyers creating false citations with AI too.

This will get a lot worse before it starts to get better.
