The "live" coding demo felt very staged with codex reasoning set at "low" and everything working ootb.

Every single person I know had nothing but respect for the meta people doing it live. I think they garnered more attention that way

We clearly don't have the same friends then! The event was the ridicule of the day on Twitter (wrongly, in my opinion, given that the tech is very good).
