This is dangerous because of how easy it is to abuse. Look at Türkiye where İmamoğlu was arrested and had his university degree removed on trumped up charges as he's a potential threat to Erdoğan's chances of re-election. In Türkiye, certain crimes disbar you from running for election (and you're required to have a university degree). |
