It’s possible for something to be more than one thing at the same time. You can both leave a company as a protest of its politics and move on to some other venture that you have the means for. And anyway the article, which doesn’t dig deeper into this person’s motives, doesn’t even paint it as a protest. It could simply be not wanting to participate in harm, which is not exactly the same as a protest. |
