The default settings are interesting. Are there people doing this every 15 minutes, daily? And otherwise live a "modern" life? I don't meditate or actively practice mindfulness, the thought of it kind of gives me anxiety in a "I don't have time for that, gotta keep moving" way (though I do daydream and stare into space a lot, but is that mindfulness or the opposite?). In that sense I would almost consider this a form of torture, it's such a short interval, feels like it would always be on my mind (but that's the point?). What is the relationship between mindfulness and deep focus, are they at odds or complementary? |
