Ask HN: Accepted on Zenodo, but passed elsewhere — similar experiences?
1 points by mzk_pi 266 days ago
We tried submitting our math-based contribution protocol paper to multiple preprint repositories. So far, it seems that only Zenodo is willing to host it.

Has anyone else run into something similar — where Zenodo accepts but SSRN (or other repositories) do not?

For reference, the full text is openly available here: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.16923643

Could it be the non-standard formatting? I also don’t see proofs in the zenodo document.
Thank you — I see, that makes sense. I really appreciate your feedback. This was very helpful and I’ve learned from it.

    math-based
In precisely the same sense that packing peanuts made from corn are "food-based"

AI slop goes in the slop bucket, which is Zenodo.

Zenodo is just a repository and many scientists use it for sharing data and code. IME, the AI slop is new.
