For me it is "how often" I get sick more than the length of ailments. Especially otitis(es ?). Studies [1] seem to support my theory, but it could be that I am just getting older and I am confusing correlation with causation. Really annoying however, as every time I catch a cold I am afraid of having to face that dull but persistent pain that is an otitis.
