Seems like a torqued version of “Maker’s Schedule, Manager’s Schedule,” but without redeeming ideas for improving the human condition.

Except the arguments are exactly the opposite. In Graham’s essay, the manager works on shorter time scales while in this post, time scales increase as you go up the ladder.
Graham seems to be closer to the truth these days. Ordinary middle-class people worry about their mortgage, their retirement fund, their children's college tuition. Meanwhile, the managers are obsessed with quarterly returns.
