That sounds lovely and very special. I think it might be because places of worship have a function that is nowhere else to be found: a place for introspection. Where a city is usually all entertainment and shops, a place for true rest and just enjoying the places is far rarer. Although some cities are wising up and creating more of those places in city planning. |
