Most referrals never turn into meetings. Why does this happen?

I noticed that while referrals are supposed to be the highest-converting channel, they often stall. People want to help, but the intro ends up vague, awkward, or never sent at all. Curious how others have solved this, especially at the early stage when every warm intro matters. |
