Unless you think you will face scale issues comparable to those of Twitter or Github, I am not sure whats stopping you from using Rails. In fact, the amount of information about how to scale Rails (The latest I have read is from the guys at Goodfil.ms) makes your task ahead almost trivial. Having said all this, I worked professionally with Spring and I do personal stuff with Rails, and Rails is a lot more fun. |
