For some reason, I really hate when websites use "my" or "I" instead of "your" and "you"; it feels patronizing, like they're trying to help us understand what's happening. Also the example given at the end of the article has a simple solution: > Do you want to share your profile photo? => YES / NO Why would we need to repeat the question in that case? This is not ambiguous. Ambiguities sometimes exist, though; my favorite is this one (not related to what's discussed here): Do you want to cancel? => Ok / Cancel |
